Paper Anniversary

On Friday it was our first anniversary. One whole year of being Mrs Gerrie. It’s been alright, like.

To celebrate we had a child free day around Liverpool. After having a mooch about town, we sampled some of the independent establishments.

First stop was Bier on Newington. Lovely little bar. James sampled some Toast beer from The Liverpool Craft Beer Company.

Next up was a trip to Rookwood Bar & Cue for some EXCELLENT burgers and amazing chips with cheese and chilli. James again sampled some of The Liverpool Craft Beer Company’s beer, this time Black Bear. I tried this, I hate beer but this actually tasted quite nice to me. So I’m guessing it’s pretty damn good to people who actually like beer!! The food here was delicious and the venue was relaxed and fun. We really liked it.

I didn’t get to take any food photos as I was too busy eating.

After filling our tummies, we wandered down to Motel for a last drink. We like it in here. Cool tunes and cool decor!!!

We had a fun little time.

  2. Happy anniversary – my paper one seems a lifetime ago! I used to hate beers but now I love a good ale…particular through the winter months. Love your photos – the art work on the Motel menu is fab. 🙂
